# Caring for Kitchen Countertops and Cabinets

> Everyday care tips for kitchen countertops, refaced or renovated cabinets, and tile backsplashes.

A little routine care keeps a new kitchen looking new for years.\*

## Countertops

* Wipe spills promptly, especially acidic ones like citrus, wine and vinegar.
* Use cutting boards and trivets; do not cut or set hot pans directly on the surface.
* Clean with mild soap and water or a cleaner made for your countertop material.

## Cabinets

* Wipe doors with a soft, damp cloth and dry them.

## Backsplash

* Wipe behind the range after cooking.
